Lets train our upper bodies, ladies!
First of all Happy Monday people. 🌞
This week I want to share my thoughts and ideas about training upper body 💪
One of our couple photoshoots back in 2016 |
So here`s one of what I do quite often...
BRADFORD PRESS
It`s a similar exercise to the barbell shoulder press, although you press the bar from chest up and go down behind your head and then back. It greatly works on your deltoids as well as on triceps and back [ trapezius ] as secondary muscles. I like to use it as a finisher for my upper body workout and burn out 🔥
To get the 100% work done choose the weight you`re comfortable with and only work with your arms as many reps as you can from your set and once it gets hard to press with just the arms, keep on going by helping with the legs, giving that extra push. I usually do 20 reps and get tired in my arms after the 10th, so I finish the other half with the help of my legs. Have a look at the video, how I`m doing it. 👇
Women should not be afraid to train upper body muscles like back, triceps, shoulder and biceps. If you do it right, you will never look manly. I have one workout per week for this part of the body, sometimes I add extra shoulder or back sessions. Right now I am at this point of my life where I really like the look of my back, although I want to gain a bit more shoulder size, to get that right shape and proportion in my body, if you know what I mean.
And of course have a wonderful day amazing people! 💗
