Thursday morning snack making fun with the kids
We had some cooking fun this morning, although the oldest one of my boys got bored in the middle and left us, Tobias ( 1.5 y ) stayed strong with me until the end. And it only took us 20 minutes all together 😋
Honestly, my kids are such fussy eaters, especially the youngest one and so often I have to come up with some different foods and meals to hide some healthy ingredients in there as Tobias ( the youngest one ) would not normally eat meat, greens or even potatoes or rice and I could go on and on. So mixing stuff he likes with those things he doesn`t but need in his diet is my way of giving them the best I can 💁
The same goes for snacks 😣 every kid loves overly sugary and fatty foods. I mean, who doesn`t. But that is not how I want my children to grow up, I want to give them some basics and understanding about what`s good and what`s not good for their health. Of course occasionally they do get some original and so much loved by everyone sweets, like gummy bears or chocolate bars but most of the time we try to make our own yummy and nutritional snackys! 😎
I want to share with you my interpretation of muffins I used to make loads and they would nicely fit in my healthy balanced diet. Although now we made an experiment by adding some more ingredients and try to get the fluffy and juicy!

When Oliver was still helping me and having fun
|
He was there until we started to whisk the egg whites then he left 😀 |
So Tobias helped me with filling the muffin tray |
And he was there with me while we waited for them to bake |
Of course, as I brought them out, he dug straight in and ate 4 MUFFINS 😱 |
Productive morning in our house. And to finish this off with a nice closure I`ll share my tip.
To make foods like these soft and juicy add yoghurt and eggs. They work well together 💫
