Resistance Band Leg Work

Hey, hi, hi..

Today I did another resistance band workout for my legs and glutes. Somehow, for the last few weeks I don`t want to use heavy weights for certain muscle groups on myself as I feel that's something I don`t need at the moment. Anyway, I still want to work hard at the gym and enjoy my workouts, so I planned this little complete burner for myself and worked my glutes and legs from every angle.
I should tell you, that while doing this workout, I broke 2 resistance bands - the heavy ones. They snapped on me 😅😅 So, in the video you`ll see me starting with the heavy band and finishing off with 2 blue - medium bands as I snapped all of the hard ones 💁 I am telling ya, I`m not that strong 😆

Workout:
  • Use any resistance bands you feel comfortable with and the most important thing is to focus on the muscle worked, going slow and using controlled movements. It is gonna burn, but that burn is good - shapes and tones the muscle 🔥
  1. Big Band Romanian Deadlifts - with weights - x20 [gives resistance and helps with getting more contact right in the glutes, also helps to perform these deadlifts correctly by pulling you back when going down, that`s how it should be even without the band, your bum stretches back as far as possible and you get a great stretch in to your hamstrings] x 3 sets
  2. Big Band Dumbbell Swings - x20 [right, this is how to get much greater contact in the glutes, just make sure you are squeezing them and actually working with the resistance]
  3. Superset ☟☟[this is where you complete first exercise and straight after complete the 2nd one and only then rest and repeat] 
  • Band Straight Leg Kickbacks - x20 each leg 
  • Laying Big Band Hamstring Curls [single leg] - x15 each leg + double legs x15 - 3 sets all together
     4. Superset ☟☟

  • Band Clams - x20 each side
  • Band Glute Bridge Hold Abductors - x20 - 3 sets all together
     5. Finisher - Crab Walks [that`s how I call these] - walk for 1 minute like in the video.

Yeah, this is me. Broke 2 resistance bands, spilled some water and didn`t clean up, kid in the middle trying to steal my drink and also I almost fell few times because of the bands.. Not that I am so clumsy 😃😃
